Elisha had a mama duck, daddy duck and baby ducks at Grandma and Grandpa Bringhurst in the spring and ever since she has loved ducks.

She got right up next to the ducks and was so happy.

.. Once one duck headed to the water she wanted to chase them.

ok, i know its just a little pony but I was so impressed with Elisha, she loved evey minute of it and acted like a little pro.

Ellie is such a silly little girl. Tonight she came out and wanted my camera, when I asked her why she said "CHEESE" so i turned the camera on and thought i would take pictures of her, she jumped on me and wanted me in the pictures.

I told her to pull a silly face. yep that's a curler in her mouth, no idea why.

Doggy I (our kitty)

 Elisha loves animals of any kind so much, she is always wanting to touch doggies when she sees them and tries to catch all the neighbor cats so I finally broke down and got her one of her own. I think I talked myself out of it a million times in 24 hours but then I decided that she needs a little friend and that I dont want her to be silly about animals like I am, I want to encourage her individuality and love for different things. When we got to my friends house to pick up the kitty Elisha was so thrilled she did a little dance. the car ride home she held the kitty and talked to it. I asked her what she wanted to name kitty and she says "hmmm I, Doggy I"

she has said her name is E I for awhile now that she is learning to spell her name.

She did not let the kitty out of her sight or grip until they both passed out. The little kitty being a stinker kept sneaking in and cuddling up with Elisha, I kept moving it back to its bed and finally it figured out it was not worth the effort to try anymore and stayed in its bed.

I really worried about how I would handle a cat, I knew Elisha would be great but once I saw her reaction to her very own kitty and how helpful she was with it and how much she already loves the little fur ball I have realized it is worth it. Seeing her smile and hearing her giggle and play makes my day.

I love my little Elisha and her big heart.

Potty Trained!

Its official ELLIE IS FULLY POTTY TRAINED!
I am so proud of her. She has been wearing her big girl panties for almost 5 months but today marks one full week of no “ups” to bed and no accidents.
She is such a big girl! She did have a hard time not having a tippy cup at night but she is getting better.

and.... IT"S A GIRL

On Friday, Elisha and I got up extra early and drove to my parents house to pick up Kaitlyn for the weekend. We hurried back to Salt Lake and to the Dr office to meet Matt for the ultrasound.  Kaitlyn was so excited to see the baby.
Well..... It's a GIRL!!!
Kaitlyn had finally decided she wanted a brother and Elisha wanted a "matt-matt" for a long time then changed to a "kat-kat" then friday morning she wanted a dog!  
I'm actually relieved knowing its a girl, I have been so sick and I never was with Kaitlyn or Elisha but I know what to do with girls and all the ins and outs so I have no fears on that side of having a new little one.
And after thinking about the reasonably closeness in age for Elisha and this baby I think a girl will be great, The youngest two can be little side kicks (I hope)

Elisha and I got a vacation.. well we called it one.

We got to go stay at Rhonda and Dougs with Shanell, Bre and Brayden while they went to Nascar.

I enjoyed having a shower alone and I have to admit they have a pretty comfy bed.

On Friday Bre and Brayden had school but Shanell was off for the day so she got to be my nanny and go with me to my dr appt and help watch Elisha. I appreciate her so much, it was nice to have someone there to watch and entertain her so that I could listen to my dr.

Later that day they talked Uncle Matt into taken us all to dinner. We all had such a good time and laughed so hard. After that we went back to the house and watched tv, movies and the boys played video games.

Elisha had so much fun the entire weekend, she had people to entertain, all the attention she wanted and the kids were so great to watch "my friends tiger and pooh" with her over and over and OVER! 

Elisha had to help Bre load the dishwasher, her shirt got wet so she had to take it off.
